- Direct access to the satellite network via an on-board GPS module
- API search of Wi-Fi networks nearby
- Location reported by an owner’s smartphone
- Other technologies
At all times we try to provide a reasonably accurate location with minimal delay while ensuring optimal battery life.
How long does it take to track my dog?
When you start a live tracking session, it takes 2 minutes on average to find your pup. You will then receive an update every 60 seconds.
Wi-Fi Escape alerts take 3 minutes on average to arrive. If you need something faster, please consider looking into other kinds of products (e.g. invisible fences), which may come without GPS tracking.
